BSA Licence Card There are two excellent web sites for consumers to ensure that anyone doing work for you is properly licensed, registered, and so forth.

The first is a federal government site to ensure businesses have an ABN. Click on www.abnsearch.com.au

The second is a Building Services Authority (BSA) site to make sure that your tradespeople are licensed. You can do this at www.bsa.qld.gov.au/licencedb/main.exe

The BSA also offers a search to check if your builder has taken out insurance for your project.
