Who can provide design services?

Licensed Building Designers - Require a BSA Building Designer Licence. To check if the designer is appropriately licensed phone BSA.
Architects - No BSA licence required, must be registered with the Board of Architects, Qld, for confirmation of registration call (07) 3224 4482.
Builders - House builders require a BSA building licence in the class of "House Building". This licence entitles them to design homes which they will subsequently build, phone your nearest BSA office to check licence.
Engineers - No BSA licence is required, must be registered with the Board of Professional Engineers, phone for confirmation of registration on (07) 3224 6032.
