Painting Dispute - Technical Inspection Service

The Master Painters Association of Queensland offers a Technical Inspection Service, available to home owners at a reasonable cost. The purpose of the inspection is to establish if work carried out by a painter meets required specifications.

If you, the home owner, are not satisfied with work done by a painter and there is dispute in terms of balancing reasonable workmanship and your expectations, simply contact the Master Painters Association and commission an inspection. The painter does not need to be informed, unless you wish to do so.

Approximately 1 week after the inspection, you will be issued with a written report, an 'expert opinion', which you may use as a means to resolve any dispute.

Cost $275, if your painter is a Master Painter
$385, if your painter is not a Master Painter
Contact Details Phone the Master Painters Association Queensland on (07) 3367 1544
