Solar Power

Solar Power in the Sunshine State saving money on energy bills and helping save the planet by reducing greenhouse emissions. An energy efficient home is designed and built to allow cool breezes, shade and thermal comfort in summer, while taking advantage of solar warmth during winter. The result is a comfortable house all year round and minimum heating and cooling costs. Energy efficient features include optimal house orientation with overhangs for shading, appropriate windows and insulation, use of natural lighting, good cross-ventilation, planned landscaping and the right choice of building materials. A solar hot water system can save up to 80% on water heating bills. Rebates are now also available for solar panelling on houses that feed excess power back to the grid.
