A kidsafe backyard is a place where
there are plenty of child friendly things to do, but without major hazards.
A Safe Place
All locks and catches should be child resistant.
Poisonous Plants in the Backyard
Many garden plants, even if not poisonous, would have very unpleasant side effects if they were eaten. Many parents know that common plants such as Oleander, Deadly Nightshade and Foxglove are poisonous. Parents are less aware that plants such as Buttercup, Daphne and Daffodil can also be dangerous.
