Brisbane Home & Garden Show

The recent Courier Mail / Energex Home Show at the Brisbane RNA showgrounds was another great success for us, with plenty of interest generated by our colourful stand. Not only that, but many people had very good things to say about our site, having used thisplace already!

Sunshine Coast Home Show Is Another Great Success!

Just like the Brisbane Home & Design Show earlier this month, the Sunshine Coast Home Show has been a very successful promotion for thisplace.com.au

Not only was there again a great deal of interest and enthusiasm for what we are doing, both from the consumers and potential customers, thisplace.com.au also won the organiser's award for Best New Business!

The award was given for our "... impressive site, presentation, eye-catching logo and proactive promotion of local business and products"

The thisplace.com.au stand at the 2000 Brisbane Home & Design Show proved to be a great success! There was plenty of interest, from consumers and business alike, and the feedback from both groups about the site was outstanding and, more importantly, very encouraging - we must be on the right track!

The stand was very busy and plenty of flyers, shirts, caps, stickers and magnets were handed out, promoting our site.

Adam Dale, from our own Queensland Bulls Cricket Team, was at the thiplace.com.au stand on Friday afternoon. Adam signed autographs and handed out some Bulls gear and it was all thanks to Adam and Home Loans at Chermside.

As part of the sponsorship deal, the MMM Rock Patrol is visiting 7 locations of our choice.

So far, the Rock Patrol has been to Mitre 10 at Brookside, Garden Way at Darra, G.J.Gardner Homes at Morayfield, Bretts Timber & Hardware, AXIS Pest Control and Paddington Hardware.

Our sales staff have been present for the visits, promoting our site and handing out flyers and caps.

The Rock Patrol visits were an excellent opportunity for us to promote thisplace.com.au. As well as having our name mentioned on one of Brisbane's most popular radio stations, the Rock Patrol visits were always well attended.
