Checking for Leaks using water meters

To check for leaks turn off all taps and take a water meter reading. Re-check the meter in approximately 30 minutes and if the meter reading is the same as the first reading, there are no undetected leaks.

If your water meter requires attention, please phone your local Council. If any leaks are detected contact your local plumber for further advice.

Check for leaks regularly - you can detect water leaks early before they become an expensive problem.
